About Lisa Stewart's Background and Qualifications:


As a consultant, Ms Stewart is respected and valued for being a thinking partner to business leaders and HR professionals as they create and implement plans for developing staff around the world. Clients retain her for consulting services; leadership development; women’s career development; culture change strategies; coaching; team interventions; and facilitating learning sessions on a broad array of topics.


With over 23 years of consulting, learning and development experience, Ms Stewart was a key member of the BP Global Faculty delivering learning curricula for BP staff around the world. She was a lead facilitator on a range of leadership programs for senior executives and first level managers, such as “Improving Personal Performance”; “Effective Team working”; “Communication and Influence” and  “Owning Our Diversity,” She designed and delivered “Maximizing Your Performance” for Business Resource Group members, “Maximizing your Career Development” for Women’s Network members, and created customized learning interventions for a variety of BP businesses and organizations.


Ms. Stewart was formerly a senior consultant based in The Hague, NL, and a consulting member of the leadership team for Shell’s Global Diversity Practice in London. She has also designed, developed and facilitated numerous workshops and led consulting engagements for clients in the pharmaceuticals and medical products industry such as Baxter, Bayer, Johnson &Johnson, and Hill-Rom.


Two of her favorite engagements were:


  • The strategy building and facilitation of “Men and Women as Colleagues,” aligned with the Initiative for the Advancement and Retention of Women at Deloitte. This engagement led to ground breaking culture change relating to gender, and external recognition for the firm.   • The unique non-cognitive learning experience she co-designed with the Impact organization of Austria for creating greater world-mindedness and deeper perceptual skills for senior negotiators.
